Privacy
The short version: μUtils collects nothing, stores nothing on any server, and shows no ads. The long version is below — and it is short because there is not much to say.
What we collect
Nothing. μUtils has no accounts, no cookies, no sign-up and no server-side storage. Every tool runs 100% in your browser: text you paste, files you drop and results you generate are processed on your device and never transmitted anywhere.
There are no third-party scripts, no fonts loaded from external CDNs, no pixels and no fingerprinting. The site works with JavaScript doing local computation only.
What is stored on your device
Some preferences are saved in your browser's IndexedDB under a single namespace (devkit:) so the site remembers them between visits: your dark/light theme choice, your favorite tools, recently used tools, and optional per-tool drafts (only for tools where you explicitly rely on drafts). Drafts exist so a reload does not destroy your work.
This data lives solely in your browser profile. It never leaves your device, and clearing your browser data removes it completely.
How to clear it
You can wipe everything μUtils has stored in one click. This deletes your theme preference, favorites, recently used list and all tool drafts from this browser.
Analytics
By default there is no analytics of any kind. If the operator of a deployment enables the optional flag, Cloudflare Web Analytics (cookie-less, aggregate-only, GDPR-friendly) may count page views without collecting identifiers or tool inputs. Even then, nothing you type into a tool is ever recorded.
Donations
If a donation link is configured, donating takes you to an external service (such as GitHub Sponsors or Ko-fi) with its own privacy policy. μUtils itself never sees payment details and does not receive any personal information from the donation process.
